Endings, Summer, and the mix for 8-15-16

What?  I’m sorry… my mind wandered and you came padding in like the fog on little cat feet, scarcely casting a shadow on the floor or rustling the numerous papers that have formed like a shell about me…

What?  I’m sorry… that can’t be right.  Oh, yes, you are lovely company and oft make the hours light and dreamy but are prone to telling stories, are you not?  Surely you can’t mean that to carry the weight of horror the words you have incanted could mean…

What?  I’m sorry… it’s that, well, yes, I guess I do owe you an apology. I am sorry for the accidental calumny.  I was overcome when the truth of your claim was proved so easily by the evidence readily at hand.

So, it is as you say.  The summer is over.  While I do so enjoy your visage and wit, your visits can be cruel.
