The Onion On My Internet Belt

Regular visitors (do I have any of those yet?) to the blogotron will notice that the layout is vastly different than last week. That is in no small part an accident. I just rolled with it. If you have feelings about it one way or the other, let me know.

This week’s mix has a lot of talking. Once per term KUST has Social Justice and Awareness Week (SJAW for short). This is the mechanism by which the club fulfills its service hour requirement. Since I do a show and am not just a distance advisor, I am also subject to the rules. If you are really interested in skipping the talking, it is in the dead middle of the mix over the songs “Radioharp” and “Underwater Promenade”. My topic this term was Diabetes Awareness and the Associated Costs for Treatment.
For more information about diabetes and its associated costs I would recommend this link to the American Diabetes Association’s webpage:

There is a mild sonic theme to this show. Not all the songs conform to it, but most do. Any guesses as to what that might be?

Listen to and/or download this show! The Funkomaticjamatron Presents… Originally broadcast on 4.25.13

“The Funkomaticjamatron Presents…” streams live 5-6 pm Central Time, Thursdays on KUST.

NOTE: The show archives are generally ten shows deep. Beyond that, if the link isn’t active, the mix has been deleted to make way for new material.

  1. I can see that it’s different, but I confess I can’t really remember what it looked like before! I like the 1950s kitchen table formica background pattern.

  2. Delivered from the future: I like this ending with Underworld trend.
